Love Island's kissing challenge sees Whitney dish out brutal reviews as two stars axed

Love Island stars will put their kissing skills to the test on Tuesday before it's revealed who will be booted out of the villa.

The intimate action kicks off when Sammy receives a text, which reads: “Islanders, it’s time to test your lipsing skills in today’s challenge The Kissing Competition. #PuckerUp #LipsLocked."

The boys are blindfolded wearing noise cancelling headphones and lined up by the pool ready for the kissing to begin.

Each girl then takes it in turns to kiss the boys one-by-one, receiving a score out of ten, the girl with the most points is crowned winner.

The majority of the Islanders give it their best shot while some hold back for their respective partners.

Catherine, Jess, Mal and Whitney will definitely not be shy when it comes to showing off their smooching skills.

As Whitney takes on the challenge, Leah gasps: “Oh my god, she’s going in.”

Sharing her verdict on the boys, Whitney says: “Mitch was giving teeth, Scott wasn’t giving.”

Love Island spoilers confirm one boy will awkwardly mix-up the girl he's coupled up with.

Later, the results of the public vote are revealed as viewers were asked to choose their favourite boy and favourite girl in the villa.

Kady receives a text which reads: “Can all Islanders gather around the fire pit”.

As their phones start to ping, the results leave the Islanders speechless.

Meanwhile, Jess and Sammy's love story continues as they discuss whether it really is over for them.

Jess pulls Sammy for a chat after thinking over her relationship with Mitchel.

Sammy says: “I’m in a position where I'm not ready to be closed off. The thing between me and you, we didn't shut the door. Everyone else shut it for us and we didn’t have a say in it.”

Jess replies: “I do genuinely feel like something is there but if you want to close that down, I understand that.”

Will the pair decide to shut the door on their romance once and for all?
