Love Island stars Kaz Kamwi and Liberty Poole have broken their silence on the scary moment they were held at knifepoint in Los Angeles.
The pair, who became pals on the dating show in 2021, assured fans they were okay despite the scary scenes.
They were reportedly on their way to a party stateside and said they ended up in "the wrong part of the neighbourhood".
They were said to have been threatened by a 40-year-old woman before two passers by intervened by calling the cops.
A source told The Sun of the incident: "Out of the blue, this woman appeared with a knife and threatened them.
“Liberty and Kaz were obviously shocked and terrified — especially because guns are legal in the US.
"But fortunately for them, two men who had been walking past came to their rescue and called the police."
The source admitted that the women had been left shaken up by the incident.
And taking to her Instagram Stories on Sunday, Kaz shared a clip of her and Liberty explaining what happened.
She said: "We wanted to jump on really quickly and say thank you to all the messages we have received."
Liberty then echoed the thoughts and said: "Obviously, it was a scary incident that happened Thursday, but we didn’t want it to affect the rest of our holiday so we’ve just been continuing on as normal and living our best lives.
"And obviously, it’s horrible that that happened, but we’re OK and that’s the main thing that we’re safe."
The loveable duo then sent their appreciation to the fans for their concern once again before saying their trip stateside was coming to an end.
While in the States, the former Love Islanders attended the Coachella Festival alongside their fellow stars from the show Millie Court and Lucinda Strafford.
Later on Sunday night, Kaz shared a pic of her and Liberty on board a plane headed back for Blighty.
As both pouted and flashed the peace sign, Kaz wrote: "Hometime @libertypoolex." alongside a broken heart emoji.
She also filled in her followers on her current nail situation, writing: "Also, yes, My nails broke...AGAIN."
Liberty's dating life has been a source of interest since leaving the Mallorcan villa alone following her split from Jake Cornish.
Reports suggest that she has found romance with a new flame as she is said to be secretly dating a carpenter named Tyler.
A source told The Sun on Sunday the former Dancing On Ice star was "smitten" with the mystery man.
