Love Island's Kain Reed goes 'missing' in Casa Amor as fans wonder what's happened to Gateshead lad

Gateshead's Kain Reed has sparked an 'investigation' from Love Island viewers, who have declared he has gone 'missing' in Casa Amor, after barely being seen on screen on Tuesday or Wedneday night.

Prior to going into the ITV dating show as one of the Casa Amor boys, the 21-year-old energy consultant vowed that he wasn't afraid to split relationships up, saying: "They need to know that I’m on my way in and no couples are safe! I’m about to step on boys’ toes and turn girls’ heads."

Keen footballer Kain added: "I’m excited because I want to see how strong the relationships actually are between the current couples, and if I can change them. I’m going in there to turn heads! I love a challenge in every aspect, whether it’s over a girl or a sport. I’m a competitive guy and I want to win!"

However, while Kain went straight on the harm offensive when he entered Casa Amor, telling the girls from the main Love Island villa that they were 'all his type,' before making a play for Lana; since then his appearances on screen have been few and far between.

On Tuesday, he featured in the Casa v Main Villa challenge, getting to kiss Lana, but the majority of the episode was concerned with Will cheating on Jessie and what Tom and Olivia were up to.

Wondering just what had happened to Kain, one viewer took to Twitter to ask: "Where’s kain?" Another tweeted: "‘So kain’s lovely’ ‘Who’s that again?’ ‘I don’t know’ BYE"

The exact same thing happened when Newcastle's Jasmine Nichol went into Casa Amor last year. The nightclub manager was tipped to cause a stir in the villa, with viewers branding her "absolutely stunning," but she ended up getting hardly any airtime.
