Love Island's Jessie Wynter and Will Young issue joint statement as fans say 'my heart can't take it'

Love Island's Jessie Wynter and Will Young have delighted fans with their latest update. The couple, who just missed out on the winter 2023 final, have gone from strength to strength since leaving the famous villa.

TikTok star Will was part of the original line-up during the series that kicked off in January, while Jessie made the late entrance as a bombshell who had previously appeared in the Australian version of Love Island. The pair hit it off, even surviving the drama of Casa Amor, and have continued their relationship on the outside.

Since exiting the show, Jessie has been staying at Will's now-famous family farm, with the pair regularly sharing videos of social media with the animals, including feeding lambs and alpacas. Now, in a joint statement, the pair have confirmed they're heading to Australia together after Will surprised Jessie with his own flight to Sydney.

Posting on Instagram, Jessie said: "WE'RE GOING TO AUSTRALIA !! I have absolutely fallen in love with the UK and this man, however it's been almost 6 months since I've been home.

"I'm grateful to have felt so welcome and loved here in the UK and am so sad to be leaving buttt, I'm so excited to finally be going home to my friends and family AND be able to show @farmer_will_ my home !!!

She added: "I was absolutely devastated at the thought of leaving Will here in the UK because of his work commitments butttt, he surprised me with his flight booking and HE'S COMING WITH ME. See ya soon Australia."

Jessie and Will accompanied the announcement with a loved-up snap alongside an emotional video of Will showing Jessie his booking confirmation. As the penny drops she asks: "What is this this? You're coming to Syndney?" before throwing her arms around him.

Fans of the pair were delighted, as one wrote: "My heart can’t take it man," while another added: "I've been sobbing my heart out thinking he wasn't coming with you, now I'm sobbing because he is coming with you!"

"Okay we are LIVING for this," said a third, while another wrote: "This has made my day."

Jessie and Will are one of the success stories from this year, with Samie Elishi and Tom Clare the latest couple to break up. Others to have split are Olivia Hawkins and Maxwell Samuda as well as Casey O'Gorman and Rosie Seabrook. You can find the full list of the 2023 couples still together here.
