Love Island’s Jessie and Will to win despite his 'easily done little mistake', says pal

Love Island's Jessie Wynter and Will Young will get over his "little mistake" and go on to win the entire show.

That is the opinion of former Love Island Australia star and pal of Jessie's, Cassie Lansdell. The former bombshell believes that the pair are well suited and will patch things up, despite the hunky farmer straying in Casa Amor.

As movie night hit the South African villa, a number of devastating truths were revealed to the islanders. Among them was TikTok star Will's smooch with Layla Al-Momani during the Casa test. It left fans expecting the once happy couple to call it quits, but Cassie believes this won't be the case.

She claims Will is still a good match to her pal and believes Jessie will give him another chance to prove his worth.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Cassie said: "Obviously, what he did [wasn’t good]. I don’t know, do I trust him, or was he just being a typical guy in the moment and not really thinking with his head?

"[I think] now that he’s realised what he’s done, he’s also realised that he really loves her and he wants her back."

She added: "I think they’ll go all the way to be honest and I think they bring each other’s good sides out, like they’re really funny together. So I hope she gives him another chance. I feel like he just made a little mistake in the moment, it’s easily done."

Discussing her mate's ex-partners, Cassie revealed she sees Will as a completely different character, which is exactly what she needs.

She explained how Jessie has had it tough in the past and said she would've initially thought she would have paired up with Todd Elton as he is more her type on paper.

However, she believes her link-up with Will can only be a good thing and the pair can mend their relationship and go on to win the show before proving to be a success on the outside.

Love Island producers are set to introduce two new bombshells to the villa on Friday night after the newcomers were teased in the latest episode of the ITV2 reality show.

The new Islanders - Rosie Seabrook and Keanan Brand - will make their way into the villa just as the couples come to terms with the aftermath of a brutal Movie Week.

Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
