Love Island's Jay Younger joked he would be returning to the villa after the shock departure of Jacques O'Neill.
During Tuesday night's episode, Jacques O'Neill left the villa after Adam Collard raised tensions. After entering the villa as a bombshell, Love Island 2018 contestant Adam Collard instantly set his sights on Paige Thorne.
But on Tuesday, former contestant, who left the villa earlier this month, took to Twitter to joke that he would on his way back to the island. Sharing a photograph of a plane, he wrote: "When you just touch down and have to fly straight back in #ByeJacques #LoveIsland."

Dozens of fans were quick to comment with their thoughts on the possibility of a return. One person wrote: "If Jay goes back in could you imagine Davide’s reaction, it would be cuter than any Casa Amor reunion the show has had lol."
A second added: "Don’t tease me like that", as a third said: "This would be epic plz say this is true if not I’m guna cry for the rest of the year!"
Taking to his Instagram stories on Tuesday, Jay informed his 138,000 followers that he was back in Edinburgh as he thanked fans for the "love and support". Speaking on Jacques' exit, he said: "Tough watching Jacques leave the villa tonight.
"He's a really good boy and I can really emphasise with how he's feeling. I'm sure I'll see him on the outside, I feel for the boy. Good luck Jacques. All the best bro, see you soon."
During the Tuesday night on ITV, Jacques admitted he was struggling in the villa and tearfully told Paige he needed to exit to get back to his normal self. He said: "You mean so much to me you know that.
"The past two weeks have been hard. I've been putting on a brave face but things are getting to me." In the beach hut, Jacques later said: "I've never felt this way for anyone so yeah, I just want to get home and be myself again and carry things on on the outside."
