Jay Younger has speculated that there is more to Luca's treatment of Tasha than meets the eye, hinting that he may fancy her, as Luca faced accusations he was 'bullying' her.
Sunday's episode of the ITV show saw the second part of Mad Movies play out, with Luca coming under fire from many fans for his behaviour, after it was exposed for all the other Islanders to see that he'd been egging on the other boys to pursue the new bombshells while the girls were in Casa Amor.
Luca angered Tasha with some of his comments about her and then sparked more complaints from Love Island viewers after he put a pie in her face during the Snog, Marry, Pie game, with Dami also being criticised by fans watching at home for his actions towards her too. And, as people speculated on what was the real catalyst behind Luca being so nasty to Tasha, Jay gave his theory as he took to Twitter to ask: "Luca, do you fancy Tasha?"
Jay's theory, while seeming rather wild, does carry weight as, back in week one, Luca, who has received death threats this week, did admit he liked Tasha but taking it anywhere was hard, as back then he was coupled up with Paige and sharing a bed with her. Jay's post was retweeted over 700 times and remembering that and agreeing with him, one follower responded: "Well, yes. She pied him in like… week 1? Then he’s had a bug up his a** about her and Andrew ever since."
Also getting on board with Jay's opinion, a second commented: "Honestly that's my theory. I feel like a lot of this hatred and intense bullying of Tasha boils down to him resenting her choosing Andrew," while a third tweeted: "He's still mad she rejected him," while another fan quipped: "She hasn't got a famous footballing dad though."
