Love Island's Jay teases 'a lot of things' happened between Islanders at final party

Love Island star Jay Younger has revealed 'a lot of things' happened between ex-contestants after Monday night's final party in London.

All of the Islanders from the 2022 series were reunited this week when they headed to a swanky party in the capital to watch the live final, which saw Ekin-Su and Davide win the ITV2 show.

Jay was joined by the likes of Billy Brown and Nathalia Campos at the event, but was up early the following day for an appearance on Tuesday's This Morning.

Jay and Billy took part in an exercise segment alongside host Vernon Kay where they demonstrated how to do a minute-long plank.

As the two men balanced on the floor, Jay was heard laughing as he said: "Billy was in that position last night!"

Billy then cheekily replied: "Oh and you weren't?!" but host Rochelle Humes chose to brush over the comment ignored it.

When asked about his remark during an exclusive interview with The Mirror and if something had happened on Monday night after the party, Jay teased: "No you're right, a lot of things happened on Monday... a lot of things happened on Monday!"

When quizzed about rumours of him and bombshell Nathalia being involved with one another, Jay revealed: "Nathalia and I sent a DM to each other even before Love Island even started, like we didn't even know when each other was going in on the show."

Asked if there was a romantic connection between him and the Brazilian, Jay replied: "Not at all. I was out with Nathalia on Monday night watching the final.

"Everyone was there and I can assure you a lot of people were pursuing other people there, and Nathalia and I were not interested in each other in that way," the Scotsman added.

Jay also revealed that he was mingling with some Islanders from former series on Monday night.

"I've had a little bit more interest than I thought I might have," he said grinning, before adding: "I think what the camera does is it neutralises people's heights and I don't think people get a full understanding of someone until they meet them in person.

Jay confirmed he is definitely single since being dumped from Love Island on July 11 (ITV/REX/Shutterstock)

"I've definitely been told a few times, by ex-Islanders too, that I'm a lot better in person and I think that's coz of just the height."

However, Jay then confirmed: "I am single and I don't see that changing any time soon. I wasn't that big on the show so I dunno if I'm a big timer!"
