Reality TV star Jake Cornish is set to spend his Saturday night at a cocktail bar in Swansea, it's been confirmed. Jake, who appeared on last year's series of Love Island and was one of the favourites to win until his shock on-screen split with girlfriend Liberty Poole - will be partying with the public at glamorous venue Bella's Bar in Pontlliw this Saturday, March 19.
It's understood he'll be going to the bar with friends - which Bella's Bar has hinted may include some "well-known sporting legends". Confirming Jake's appearance, Bella's Bar shared a photo of Jake from his appearance on Love Island on social media and wrote: "SURPRISE! We are absolutely delighted to welcome Jake to Bella’s on Saturday! He will also be bringing some well known sporting legends too.

"We will also have DJ Lloyd playing the best tunes meaning Saturday will be full of GOOD PARTY VIBES."

Bella's Bar is a family-run bar and eatery in Pontlliw village, well-known for its gorgeous, Instagram-friendly decor and extensive cocktail menu. Co-owner of Bella's Bar, Aimee Payne, said she was contacted by a friend of Jake's to book the visit - and that Jake was keen to support the bar as Wales comes out of pandemic restrictions.
She said: "[As well as Jake], Jazz Richards and Lee Trundle [Wales footballers] are hoping to be there too. A friend of Jake who organises charity football matches messaged us to get booked in and we said we'd love to have him there! We chatted to Jake on the phone and he seemed really keen to visit and support us coming out of lockdown."
If you want to see Jake and DJ Lloyd at Bella's Bar, entrance is £7 and it's over-18s only. There's a maximum capacity at the bar of 100 people, first come first served.
It won't be the first time Jake has enjoyed the Swansea nightlife scene, as back in February he and his Welsh footballer pals Shaun MacDonald and Jazz Richards were photographed spending an afternoon watching the rugby at Gin Ne Sais Quoi bar and kitchen in Swansea Marina. And on March 7, he walked up Pen Y Fan for the first time and later shared photos from the peak on his Instagram page.
