Love Island's Jacques O'Neill makes 'defiant' Paige move days before final

Jacques O'Neill appears to have taken a stand against Paige Thorne moving on with Adam Collard, by erasing every trace of her from his Instagram.

After going into the show as Gemma Owen' s ex at the end of the first week, Jacques was drawn to Paige, with the two establishing themselves as big favourites with viewers at home, as well as being well fancied by bookies to do rather well. That was before Casa Amor though and, after seeing Jacques kiss one of the new bombshells while Paige stayed loyal to him, fans were put off, especially after claiming they'd already been given 'red flags' from some of his behaviour towards the Welsh paramedic.

Adam Collard's shock Love Island return really riled Jacques as he made a play for Paige and then, just a day later, the 23-year-old made an emotional exit from the villa, with Paige and other Islanders in tears as he made his announcement.

Jacques told Paige he was leaving 'to be a better person' in the hope that they could make it work outside the villa but, within a day she was sharing a bed with Adam. Jacques stayed diplomatic on Paige's swift change of heart while being interviewed by Laura Whitmore on Aftersun but now has made a very public mood against Paige, by removing any photo or mention of her from his social media.

While he was in the villa, the family who were looking after Jacques' Instagram account regularly posted about Paige and uploaded photos of her and Jacques together, saying how much they loved them as a couple, but now all of those posts have disappeared.

The move, days before the Love Island final, comes as Jacques signed a big money deal to be represented by former Islander Scott Thomas and his company The Social PR.
