Jack Keating appeared to make a move on Jazmine Nichol after Love Island fans noticed there was chemistry between them.
The pair were dumped from the show last week alongside George, Samuel, Mollie and Cheyanne.
Jack, 23, said he was "gutted" he didn't get to find time for romance on the show -however, apparently all is not lost.
The son of Ronan Keating rocked up on Love Island's spin-off show Aftersun on Sunday where Jaz chose to couple up with him.
Replying to a message that read: "Jaz and Jack on After Sun", followed by a heart, Jack posted: "Second date? @jazminejaynenichol", followed by a praying and crossed fingers emoji.
The pair certainly looked happy to be in each other's company with both of them laughing after Jaz admitted she'd had no idea Jack had a famous dad.
However, while the pair look like they're enjoying time together having left the show, Jack did admit he wished he'd done things differently while he was in the villa.
Despite having high hopes for love, he sadly was dumped from the show after none of the girls chose to bring him back to the main villa.
Speaking on Aftersun, he said: "If I could go back, I'd probably give a bit more time to Danika.
"I don't think I really chatted to her until the second day. It's tough, you have to book some time in for the girls because it got so busy in there. If I could go back, it would probably be with Danika for sure."
Jazmine also had regrets, but hers were about how she was - or in fact wasn't - portrayed.
The Islander was one of the six bombshells who joined the original boys in the main villa as the girls headed off to Casa Amor.
Responding to fan who complained she didn't get enough screen time, Jazmine said: "I have no control over the final edit for the show! However, they had to fit 24 people in 1 hour so it's important to remember that. I certainly didn't stop talking and laughing with everyone though, or doing silly dances though."
She also admitted she wished she'd chosen a different boy to develop a connection with.
Asked if she would do anything different on the show, she said: "100% - I was so tunnel vision on Andrew from day one. So all the boys friend-zoned me because they’d bring up Andrew and say, ‘Oh you like Andrew'.
"So I wish I’d changed who I was going for. But that’s who I had the connection with."
The gang are all back in Blighty now with Jack posting a pic of him after "the most crazy couple of days in Casa Amor".
He continued: "I had the absolute time of my life, it was amazing. Unfortunately it didn't go the way I was hoping.
"I didn't really get a romantic relationship with any of the girls."
Of course, that may be about to change...
Love Island is on tonight on ITV2 at 9pm.
