Love Island commentator Iain Stirling has revealed an epic twist for the start of the 2022 series.
Appearing on Friday's Lorraine live from Majorca, the Scottish star told Christine Lampard that he had an exclusive.
The father-of-one, who is married to Love Island host Laura Whitmore, revealed that fans of the ITV2 show have the chance to determine which boy and girl will couple up first.
Iain explained: "I'm coming at you right now with a big fat exclusive! We're mixing things up this year, can I tell ya?"
"Errrrr yes!" Christine quickly replied as Iain continued: "This year, for the first year ever, we want you guys at home to play Cupid and you will have your say on which boy couples up with which girl."
Love Island fans have until 9am on Saturday morning to head to the app and vote via a poll.
"It's a fantastic poll where you get to decide who's getting coupled up with who!" Iain added.
"I feel like the viewers at home, yeah you get to look at all the Islanders and get a vibe and see who you think suits to who... or maybe who isn't suited to who, and put them together and watch the fireworks fly!"
As Christine mentioned the fact that this year's Love Island has promised to be the "sexiest year yet", Iain replied: "Christine, it’s sexy.
"Look at me, I’ve even got a white shirt on - I’m sexy this year, it's unbelievable. I’d nearly undone this button but I was told I wasn’t allowed to, it was too early in the morning," he added as Christine was heard giggling.
The Love Island 20220 line-up was confirmed at the beginning of the week and features a whole new bunch of boys and girls looking for love this summer.
The group will be living it up in a brand new villa in Majorca as they soak up the sun and get to know one another in the hope of coupling up and walking away with the prize money.
Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV and ITV Hub.
