Love Island's Georgia Harrison denies she is pregnant with Joshua Ritchie's baby

Former Love Island stars Georgia Harrison and Joshua Ritchie almost had their Instagram followers in a tizzy on Thursday night after seemingly announcing they were expecting a baby together.

Sharing a post together, the reality TV stars seemed to hint they were expecting, but many of Georgia's 1.1 million followers failed to be strung along.

The pair, both 27, captioned the pic, in which Georgia appeared to be cradling her belly: "Can’t believe we have managed keep it a secret for this long at least the cat is out the bag. To new begins."

In a follow-on comment, Georgia continued: "Obviously we're hoping it has my brains, both our sense of humours and 80 percent my looks after editing."

While some fans quickly sent messages of congratulations to the duo, others questioned whether it was a prank.

The captions were all quickly wiped from the post and comments disabled as the pair seemingly backtracked on the joke.

Georgia looked stunning in a fitted lime green dress which had a high slit up one leg. She kept the colour vibrant as she matched it with a pair of bright pink fluffy high heels.

Josh went for a more casual look, sporting an Yves Saint Laurent emblazoned black and grey sweat shirt, skinny black jeans and a pair of trainers.

Taking to her Insta Story Georgia attempted to make light of the "fake news" post.

Firstly, she jokingly asked Paige Ginn if she was "fart reveal" the baby's gender before sharing the pic again and confessing: "I'm obs not preganant we was just lolling cause I held my belly for some reason in half the pics [sic]."

She then shared what seemed to be personal messages with Joshua which included a selection of pics from the night. Her text read: "Why am I holding my belly like that it looks like its our baby shower," before adding a laughing face emoji.

And to make sure the rumours were nullified, she added another slide saying: "Also just to confirm I never said I was pregnant ... xx"

Since starring on Love Island in season three in 2017, Georgia has become one of the most successful reality stars from the show.

She has also appeared on other reality shows since, including MTV's The Challenge and Ex on The Beach.

Joshua appeared on Love Island in 2015 and he too went on to star on Ex on The Beach, making an appearance in both series six and seven of the hit show.
