Gemma Owen has come under fire over her remarks to Jacques O'Neill.
The popular dating programme has been rocked with chaos today as ITV confirmed Jacques has quit the show. The 23-year-old was coupled up with Paige Thorne, but their relationship was left in tatters after his antics during Casa Amor.
An ITV statement has now confirmed he has exited the villa and he will reveal his reasons to the Islanders in tonight's episode. A spokesperson added: "We fully support his decision and look forward to seeing what’s next for Jacques."

A first look preview on tonight's episode showed Jacques riled after an exchange with Michael Owen's daughter. Former Islander Adam Collard has entered the show and flirted with Paige in last night's episode.
Adam shared his feelings on Jacques during the discussion and explained he believes the Rugby League player will struggle to cope with the attention he receives from other girls after the show. Paige shared Adam's thoughts with Gemma, Tasha Ghouri and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, but she warned they must not tell anybody else.
However, the preview from tonight's show reveals Gemma tells Jacques Adam was "proper slagging [him] off". Viewers following the show on Twitter have blasted the Team GB dressage competitor for her comments.
Allison said: "Honestly I love Gemma but why would she do this when Paige literally told the girls not to say anything to Jacques"
Damith commented : "Funny thing is that Gemma riled Jacques up about Adam. Sneaky"
Eddie posted: "Gemma telling Paige she's stupid not to give Adam a chance... But then runs and tells Jacques that Adams slagging him off"
Holly tweeted: "Gemma is such a snake for saying that to Jacques at the end, Paige literally said don’t repeat this or there will be world war 3? Why would she stir the pot?".
