Love Island's Gemma Owen has revealed how her boyfriend Luca Bish got on with her famous footballer father Michael when they all jetted off to Portugal last week.
Fresh from their stint in Love Island, the dressage rider, 19, and fishmonger, 23, joined the Owen family for a sun-soaked break.
Appearing on Capital Breakfast with Rob Howard and Lauren Layfield on Wednesday, Gemma spoke about how her boyfriend and dad gelled on the trip as well as her plans to move in with Luca in the future.
Of their meeting, the swimwear designer said: "It couldn't have gone better, it was so nice.
"We got away for four days, it was a bit of like, got a bit of content, bit of chill time but yeah it was a really nice environment for him to meet everyone.
"They all get on really well and how he was with my brothers and sisters as well, like, so cute."
Elsewhere in the interview, Gemma revealed she still hasn't made it official with Luca, insisting that is the first step before moving in together.
When asked about winners Ekin-Su and Davide moving in together, she said: "I mean I can’t blame them, it’s like, it’s so weird after being in an environment with them 24 hours a day to not seeing them all the time.
"It’s hard, and I’m struggling with it trying to balance different parts of my life so I totally get it, and totally support it.
"Let’s be girlfriend and then we can talk about moving in together."
And Gemma has said she is still waiting for Luca to ask to her to be his girlfriend.
She said: "I mean I know I said in the villa let’s wait till we get out, want you to meet the family, let’s not rush it, but now I’m like, okay."
Elsewhere, Luca confirmed the status of their relationship on Instagram when a fan asked: "Are you and Gemma still together".
The reality star replied: "Yeah we're still together, nearly official."
It comes as Luca appeared confident in his approach at bonding with girlfriend Gemma's famous footballer father Michael, jokingly calling him out for being left off a family snap.
The Love Island star commented on Michael's post which showed the football legend posing with his wife Louise, and children Jessica, 12, Emily, 14, and James, 16.
Michael had captioned the shot: "Family -1" in reference to Gemma, 19, being absent from the snap.
Luca was quick to also mark himself as part of the family, writing in the comment section: " -2."
Gemma, meanwhile, typed: "I was there for 4 days and you wait til I leave to get a family picture" (sic).
And Love Island fans loved Luca's cheeky jibe, with one writing: "@lucabish ain’t family till @gemowen_1 has a ring on it!".
Another added: "if only we all had your confidence in life", while a third chimed: "Calm down. You're not even her boyfriend".
