Love Island's Gemma Owen has revealed the pearls of wisdom her dad Michael gave her before she enters the villa next week.
The 19-year-old will be making her debut on the ITV dating show and is sure to turn heads with her stunning looks.
The daughter of a famous footballer is bound to garner attention, but Gemma says her dad has told her to just be herself.
Speaking about the close relationship she has with her parents, the brunette said she has 'never given them a reason to distrust her'.
"My dad actually said to me ‘I’m not going to tell you what you can and can’t do. It’s up to you. You can make your own decisions.'
"But I’m very close to my family so I wouldn’t do anything that would purposefully disrespect them or embarrass them," Gemma told the Daily Star.
The stunner added that even though Michael wasn't a fan of the show he will "definitely be watching".
"He trusts me to not do anything to embarrass him or any of the family, so yeah he’s been really supportive which is nice," she said.
Gemma joins celeb offspring Dani Dyer and Belle Hassan, who both tried to find love in the villa.
The daughter of West Ham fan Danny Dyer, Dani, won the show in 2018 with Jack Fincham.
The pair had a rocky road to love and split shortly after leaving the show.
But Dani is now happy with her footballer beau Jarrod Bowen.
Meanwhile Michael Owen is said to have previously warned his daughter about dating someone in the sport.
But Gemma reckons he'd be secretly pleased if she brought a footballer home.
She told the Mirror and other press: "I'm sure if I did get with a footballer he'd be quite happy because he'd have something in common with them. I don't think he'd be annoyed."
The dressage rider joins nine other hopefuls on Monday all hoping to be struck by cupid under the Majorcan sun.
Among the line up is Welsh paramedic Paige Thorne, 24, Irish hunk Dami Hope, 26 and London waitress Indiya Polack, 23.
The show will also feature the series' first deaf contestant - model and dancer, Tasha Ghouri,
