Love Island stars Gemma Owen and Luca Bish have announced that they have ended their relationship, after weeks of rumours circulated about their strained romance.
Over the last few days, Luca has been spotted at various red carpet events including the ITV Palooza on Tuesday, without girlfriend Gemma who he met on Love Island in the summer.
The news of their splits comes as a shock after sources close to the pair recently denied that their relationship was on the rocks.
However, today, Gemma took to Instagram to confirm that they were no longer together as she wrote: "To all my followers, I wanted to let you know that Luca and I are no longer in a relationship. It wasn't an easy decision but ultimately this is what is best for both of us right now.
"Many of you have been on this journey with us from the very beginning, and I wanted to thank you for your continued support as we start new chapters."
Recently, at the TV Choice Awards, Luca spoke about their relationship, saying: "I think you're naive to think you're going to go in there to find love.
"Listen, it's called Love Island but I never went in there thinking I'd Gemma, I went in there for a fun time and on top of that, I've met a girl that I couldn't ask any more from."
