Love Island's Gemma Owen and Jack Keating 'match made in heaven', says Shaughna

The week of Casa Amor is upon us and relationships are about to be tested after a whole new bunch of singletons have arrived.

And former Love Island contestant Shaughna Phillips has predicted what she thinks will happen after the girls headed to the spin-off villa to be greeted by six new men all looking for love.

The reality star, 28, revealed she thinks Gemma Owen and Jack Keating could be a match made in heaven - thanks to their famous fathers.

While Gemma, 19, was slow to divulge her dad is renowned footballer Michael Owen, Jack, 23, wasted no time in letting the girls in on the fact Ronan Keating is his father.

And Shaughna thinks the pair could bond over growing up with a famous parent, after watching them chat on Sunday night's episode.

Speaking on Monday with OK! Magazine in an Instagram live, Shaughna said: "Gemma was chatting with Jack, they have similar backgrounds.

"Not everyone has been brought up with a celebrity dad. They could relate to each other."

Shaughna went on to say Gemma has grown on her and she might be interested in Jack because he wouldn't be interested in dating her just because of her famous connections.

She said: "Gemma has 100 per cent grown on me. She's a little bit quiet, cagey. She's just mature and we didn't expect it from a 19-year-old girl."

Gemma is currently matched up with Luca Bish, and the television personality said she think it is a "bold move" for new girl Mollie to pursue him as she doesn't see his "head turning at all".

Elsewhere, Shaughna thinks Tasha Ghouri may stray from Andrew Le Page in Casa Amor.

She said: "I think Tasha will stray but I won't hold it against her. I don't see them two together. I really liked Tasha and Charlie - they were a good match.

"I met Charlie yesterday, I was shocked by him. I think if Charlie had chosen Tasha in the recoupling she would have been happy.

"I think that put a little bit of doubt in her mind. I feel she's almost worried what will be best for her."

Love Island continues at 9pm on ITVBe.
