The mums of Love Island stars Gemma Owen and Luca Bish went on a dinner date following the filming of the Meet the Parents episode of the ITV2 dating show.
The Brighton fishmonger's sister posted a photo of the stylish pair posing together to Luca’s Instagram Stories as they are set to hit screens in the special family episode of the show on Sunday evening.
She wrote alongside the photo, in which she labelled ‘Mumma Bish’ and ‘Mumma Owen’: “The lovely mothers of the love birds out for dinner,” adding: “Cheering on their babies.”
This comes after Gemma’s mother admitted Luca’s behaviour towards Tasha in Love Island became “close to bullying”.
Luca and Dami Hope both came under fire from Love Island viewers after they targeted Tasha during several challenges, bringing her to tears.
Gemma’s mum Louise shared her verdict on the uncomfortable scenes when she commented on a clip of Tasha asking Andrew Le Page to be her boyfriend.
She wrote: “I hope Tasha is ok, I feel it’s close to bullying now which is so sad to see.”
As Sunday evening's episode of Love Island is set to welcome the islander's families to the villa, Gemma will be reunited with her mum Louise and pal Sarah.
It comes after her dad Michael Owen confirmed earlier this month that when the time comes for parents to enter the Love Island villa, he'll be staying home.
However, Louise references her striker husband as she heads into the famous villa, explaining that he's “really proud” of Gemma and has been watching the show.
Referencing Michael, Louise says: “Honestly, he is really proud of you, really proud.”
Before adding of the family: “They’re all loving watching you, they’re missing you like mad.”
She then goes on to make an apparent reference to the fight Gemma and Luca became embroiled in over the past week, when Gemma licked Adam Collard ’s chest during a challenge.
Luca told Gemma to 'f***k off' and took his mic off as he stormed out of the villa after a blazing argument.
Luca dropped himself in it, as he told her: "It's obviously not nice to see, but it's a challenge so I can't exactly stay annoyed at you for it, it was just literally..."
Gemma then interrupted: "So you can't exactly 'stay' annoyed at me for it? So you were annoyed at it?"
Luca accused her of looking into every word he was saying, and as she repeated her questions he said: "F**k off Gem," adding he wasn't in the mood.
He suddenly got up mid chat and said: "It's doing my head in," before taking his mic off and heading out of the villa, prompting Gemma to call him out to the other Islanders for his behaviour.
The pair eventually did speak alone, but things remained tense as they disagreed with one another.
Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
