Love Island's Gemma accidentally calls Luca 'Jacques' in cringe moment tonight

Love Island fans will be cringing tonight as they watch the drama continue following last night's shock dumping.

Following Afia's exit last night, in the latest instalment of the ITV2 reality dating show, islanders will be seen gathering in the kitchen to console each other.

But as Luca Bish swoops in to hug Gemma, she suffers a slip of the tongue and calls him 'Jacques' which is, of course her ex boyfriend's name.

Jacques entered the villa on Sunday night and stunned Gemma, the rest of the villa and viewers alike when it was revealed who he used to date.

As the scenes unfold in tonight's episode, the other housemates will pick up on what has just happened as Jacques is sitting right beside Gemma and Luca.

Amber is the first to pick up on the gaffe, asking: "Did you just call him something else?"

Dami adds: "Oh my god, there is no way that happened, there is no way that happened."

Luca will be seen walking off to the garden, prompting Gemma to ask: "That was bad wasn't it?"

Monday night’s episode teaser showed Gemma and Luca in the first row (ITV)

And Jacques' new love interest Paige replies: "That was bad. I am not gonna lie, he was stood there, you had your guy rubbing your shoulders, he's stood there and you're like 'oh Jacques'."

Elsewhere tonight, Tasha and Andrew will become the first couple to visit the hideaway and two new bombshells will enter, including Edinburgh man Jay Younger.

Jay is an investment analyst for Aubrey Capital Management and studied economics and finance at Heriot-Watt University.

The 28-year-old from Edinburgh was a shock bombshell at the end of last night's episode after Jacques chose Paige and Afia was dumped.
