Love Island star Faye Winter has concerned fans after revealing she's struggled with health problems and said she had 'taken a battering'.
The 27-year-old has also been plagued by rumours that she might have split from boyfriend Teddy Soares, who she met on the 2021 reality dating series.
Fans of the couple have speculated about a break-up after the pair have failed to feature one another on social media over the last few weeks. Faye in particular has been silent on social media, leading to loyal fans to worry about the former estate agent from Devon.
The star took to her Instagram to tell her 1.2million followers that her physical and mental health had suffered towards the end of last year.
Speaking on Instagram Stories, Faye revealed: "Sorry for the deafening silence but it was needed.
"Last year I took a battering, I took one for most people's team.
"Even to the point that my physical health took a battering. I just needed two weeks to reset."
Faye's vulnerable confession was accompanied by the star looking natural and without makeup, as she spoke candidly to the camera.
Fans had been speculating that she and boyfriend Teddy had called it quits, especially after Teddy also revealed he's been through a difficult time lately.
On his own social media feed the 28-year-old posted a tearful looking selfie with the caption: "About last week".
He followed it up with video clips as he explained: "One of the things I really wanna do this year is practise what you preach."
The star added that he wished to be: "That's why I thought I'd give you guys a bit of an insight into how I've been feeling recently and it's not easy, it's really not easy to obviously share your emotions, it's not easy to wear your heart on your sleeve and announce it."
He finished his heartfelt confession as he revealed: "One of the biggest reasons why I wanted to put that image of myself on my story was because, to be honest it was not only about helping myself, but it was also about who it could also help in the process as well.
"Because hopefully, you know, there will be someone out there that sees it and thinks, oh, do you know what, I'm feeling the same."
The couple have been spotted at events without each other, leading to more fuel to the rumours that the couple have gone separate ways. However, neither party have confirmed the split.
