Love Island's Faye Winter 'lost herself' in backlash and chaotic schedule after the show

Love Island star Faye Winter revealed she 'lost herself' after leaving the ITV2 show.

The 28-year-old received a lot of backlash after her infamous spat with Teddy Soares, who she is still dating.

Faye started yelling at the 27-year-old after seeing a clip (with no context) of him saying he was sexually attracted to a Casa Amor bombshell.

The spat resulted in 25,000 Ofcom complaints and a lot of hate when she exited the villa.

She admitted she didn't realise she 'needed therapy' until she joined the show, which saw her coming in third place.

"I did feel like I lost myself when I came out of the show," Faye revealed.

Faye received a lot of deals but she didn't enter the show 'for a change of career' as she loved being an estate agent.

"So it was a pretty drastic life change for me," she said to The Sun. "Suddenly I found myself living in an unfamiliar area, doing work that I wasn’t really enjoying and having no routine, which I really struggled with."

The backlash was hard for her to deal with, and she has since been in therapy working on herself.

And now, Faye is still head over heels for her man Teddy. The two even live together in Berkshire.

Her most recent project was on Celebrity MasterChef, which saw her cooking up a storm.

She admitted she 'struggled not to be rude' to judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace when she filmed the show recently.

The former estate agent explained that when she's stressed she "goes really quiet" and wanted to concentrate on cooking.

However, Gregg and John like to have a natter.

Recalling her experience with the "legends", Faye revealed: "I'm like... 'Go away, no one talk to me, I'm in my zone!'

"But the judges come over and chat with you, so I'm not trying to be rude because they're legends, but at the same time I just wanted to tell then to go away so I didn't give them food poisoning!," she told New magazine.

The Devon-born personality appears on the show with stars including Danny from McFly and the legendary Paul Chuckle from the Chuckle Brothers.
