Love Island's Ellie Brown BINS Charlie Brake pictures weeks before Christmas reunion

Love Island star Ellie Brown has proved she is well and truly over Charlie Brake by dumping photos of them together, weeks before a show reunion.

The couple, who met in the villa over summer, called time on their relationship in September with Brake posting a blunt statement on social media wishing her “all the best” .

Brown has proved that she is ready to de-clutter her life of Brake by chucking out canvases of their faces into an industrial bin.

The moment was captured by close friend and co-star Kaz Crossley, who filmed Brown and posted the video alongside the caption: “Thank u, next #menaretrash.”

Brown and Brake had a tumultuous time during their short romance, with Brake accused of flirting with other girls on nights out and turning up drunk to the Love Island reunion in July.

Days after their split, Brown broke her silence to thank fans for their support and admitted she “wasn’t the perfect girlfriend” .

Posting on her Instagram story, she wrote: “Firstly, I just want to say a massive thank you to everybody who has sent me lots of love since Tuesday but I beg you to please stop coming to me with articles that claim I brought this on myself.

“By no means am I saying I was the perfect girlfriend but I adored Charlie from the bottom of my heart and he knows that.”

“I am trying to deal with this as best and as quietly as a possible but it is hard and if you really believe that you are just as cowardly as the person who said it.”

She concluded that she “didn’t even know what to say” about the situation, before ending her emotional post with a red heart.

But, despite Brown’s best effort to make a clean break with her failed relationship, the pair will come face-to-face when the Love Island cast reunite one final time for a Christmas special .

The class of 2018 are set to dish the gossip with Caroline Flack as part of ITV2’s festivities later this year.

All of the Islanders, apart from Josh Denzel who is away, will be part of the fun - including the couples who are no longer loved up.
