Love Island's Ekin-Su to sue Oh Polly after being dropped by fashion brand

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu is set to sue Oh Polly after being dropped by fashion brand, it has been claimed.

It was reported last month that the star had been let go six months after signing the 'biggest clothing deal in Love Island history'.

The ITV2 dating show winner, 28, who won last summer's series with boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti, 27, agreed a reported £1million arrangement with the online fashion retailer after her success in the villa.

However, it reportedly appears their relationship has totally broken down.

The reality star had released her first collection with the firm in October last year, but had been noticeably quiet about the brand collaboration since.

She has not shared posts affiliated with the brand on her Instagram this year.

It was reported last month that things were 'complicated' and it just 'wasn't working' between the parties.

Now a source has claimed things have escalated and legal action could be on the way.

A source told The Sun: “Both the brand and Ekin have been left disappointed and there is now a dispute over money owed on the lucrative contract."

Mirror Online has approached both Oh Polly and Ekin-Su for comment.

The reality star celebrated her deal with a massive party at London’s One Marylebone, and has so far released one 16-piece collection with the brand, which is now being sold off at reduced prices on the brand’s website.

Ekin-Su had originally been incredibly excited about making the move into the fashion industry, saying: "I want every woman, every age and every size to feel great.

"Not just model material, not just the young 20-year-old. When I was 23 I wore Oh Polly.

"I’m 28 and I’m still wearing Oh Polly. Hopefully when I’m 38, I’m still wearing Oh Polly.”

Things 'got complicated' - and she hasn't mentioned the retailer for months (HANDOUT)

Ekin-Su last week suggested that she's planning to "distance" herself from Love Island, saying that she wants to be her "own person" and pursue acting opportunities.

She's now suggested that she doesn't want to be confined to the "scene" associated with Love Island, telling Women's Health UK that she wants to "distance" herself from it.

Ekin-Su said she often hears that she could be "forgotten" as new Islanders in new series subsequently rising to prominence on the show, which recently wrapped its second winter series.

She, however, stated that she's not fazed by it, commenting: "That doesn't bother me because of who I am." Ekin-Su added that she knows what she's going to do in her life.
