Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu is understood to be in talks to become a Loose Women regular after impressing bosses during her appearance on the daytime show on Monday, August 8. Ekin-Su joined boyfriend and fellow winner, Davide Sanclimenti, to talk about their time in the villa. The pair were crowned champions of Love Island a week earlier on Monday, August 1.
OK! reports that ITV bosses are eyeing her up to feature on the show more often, after coming across as “really fun and genuine”. “There are talks for Ekin-Su to join the panel – she’d be great,” the source revealed. “She was very naturally funny, open and honest, and that’s what they want.
“She came across as really fun and genuine and she really impressed everyone. The Loose Women ladies also loved her. She really would be great as a regular panelist.” During their appearance on the show, Ekin-Su and Davide revealed that they were planning to move in together later in the year. Following her appearance, viewers took to Twitter, urging her to become a presenter.
“Ekin Su is a presenter!! The presence she has is just wow. #LooseWomen,” one wrote. “Ekin Su is comfortable in any situation still… she’s so natural on telly n I love it,” another said.
A third added: “Ekin su is literally made for tv, she’s so natural around the camera.”
Ekin-Su's appearance on Loose Women was not without some controversy though, as viewers criticized an interaction between the 27-year-old Islander and Nadia Sawalha was "uncomfortable". Nadia said: "When you first came on, I didn't like either of you. I judged you [Davide] because you were good looking and muscly and a bit full of yourself so I thought, 'I don't like him'. And I ended up liking you both the most. So I love that when I'm proved wrong." You can read more about this here.
