Love Island’s Ekin-Su CülcüloÄlu says she regularly speaks to boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti’s mother and sister on WhatsApp.
The couple stars in new ITV show Ekin-Su and Davide: Homecomings, which follows them visiting their native countries, Turkey and Italy (respectively) together, to check out the culture and meet each other’s friends and families.
When asked if they were nervous to meet their respective loved ones, Ekin-Su, 28, said: “I wasn’t really.
“I was a bit nervous to meet Davide’s dad as I hadn’t met him yet but I loved his dad.

“I’d already met his mum and his sister and, before I went to Italy, I was always speaking to his mum and sister on WhatsApp.”
Davide, 27, added: “I wasn’t really nervous.
“I really loved Ekin’s grandma because we got along so well, especially when we cooked together. My mum said that Ekin was a really good cook when they cooked together.”
Ekin-Su first met Davide’s mother and sister when they appeared on Love Island during the meet-the-families episode.
The news of the Turkish actress becoming close with the Italian’s family members will undoubtedly delight fans who are hoping the popular couple, who were crowned Love Island 2022 winners, will go the distance.
Love Island runners-up Gemma Owen and Loca Bish have already split after just three months.
The news followed 2021’s winning couple Millie Court and Liam Reardon parting ways in July.
That year’s runners-up, Chloe Burrowes and Toby Armolaran, also recently ended their year-long romance.
