While she is totally oblivious in the villa, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu is at the centre of a Love Island fix scandal, with allegations suggesting she plotted to have a 'pre-arranged' relationship with a single guy lined up to appear on the show.
Actress Ekin-Su has ruffled plenty of feathers on the ITV2 since making her entrance a few weeks ago, being involved in a blazing row with Davide after going behind his back with new boy Jay, before then giving Jay what for when he told her he was interested in pursuing Paige, who he is now coupled up with.
And, unbeknown to her, the 27-year-old is now at the centre of a storm back in the UK, along with James Price, with the two accused of a cooking up a plan to win the show by faking a relationship when he enters the villa. The Sun reports that Ekin-Su sent James texts urging him to watch past series of Love Island, with the two said to know each other from going out in Essex.
One exchange allegedly shows James ask: “Think we could actually win it?” and Ekin-Su replies: “We will baby”. Making the claims, a source told The Sun: "“It was fine when she was just being funny and stirring up drama but it’s upsetting people now so I just felt like I had to say something.
“Plus people are voting for her without knowing this.”
A Love Island insider has shut down talk of James going into the villa at a later date, saying: " 'There aren't and have been no plans for James Price to appear in the villa," with The Sun claiming that James 'pulled out of the process' last week.
After Friday night's tense recoupling, Ekin-Su is now with the latest male bombshell to enter the new series, Charlie, while some fans still hope for a reunion for her and Davide, branding them 'the stars of the show.'
