Love Island's Davide shares thoughts on Ekin-Su's crawling scene

Love Island's Davide Sanclimenti opened up about watching his partner Ekin-Su's balcony crawl scene.

The pair stole the summer as they were crowned this year's Love Island winners after their whirlwind romance captivated viewers around the world. Hailed as the show's favourite couple ever, they joined Holly and Phil on This Morning to discuss life after the villa.

After a montage celebrating their romance, they were quizzed on some of their most iconic moments. Holly brought up the scenes where Ekin-Su crawled across the balcony in order to kiss former islander Jay, leading her to ask Davide what he thought about seeing it.

During the show, Davide had no idea what happened and only discovered what went down after leaving the villa. Discussing the incident, he said: "When I watch it and we were already out I was just so happy we were already out of the villa. We could actually enjoy our [time together] so I was completely over it."

Ekin-Su looked visibly embarrassed throughout the conversation but agreed she was happy to start their life together away from the show. The couple agreed Love Island "didn't feel like they were on television" and often forgot they were being recorded. Davide joked it is because of this they were so real with audiences and didn't play up to a reality star stereotype.
