Smitten Davide Sanclimenti has been gushing about his 'queen' Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu as they celebrated her birthday in London. The Love Island winners were delighted to be reunited after time apart.
While Turkish actress Ekin-Su was flying solo in the capital and at home in Essex, Italian business owner Davide stayed in his home city, Manchester. But the 'Italian snack' and the 'Turkish delight' were together again as he travelled down to London to be with his girlfriend.
Davide, 27, shared a video of himself knocking on the door, and the birthday girl looked surprised to see him before they melted into a warm hug. "Finally together" he captioned the clip on his Instagram.

Davide and Ekin-Su, who won hearts on the ITV2 dating show with their at-times rocky relationship, partied together apparently without their Love Island pals. Davide captioned one clip of his lady bathed in sunshine with the words 'how beautiful she is.'
He shared photo of Ekin-Su getting stuck in as he offered up a gorgeous rose-decorated birthday cake captioned with the words "I can't" and a fluttering love heart emoji. Later the couple headed to a club as more cake was brought out for Ekin-Su with bottles of bubbly and sparklers.
Davide sent fans into a frenzy as he shared a posted a heartfelt message in which he called Ekin-Su his 'soulmate.' "Happy Birthday to my Queen. My soulmate. My best friend. Hope you enjoyed your birthday in style. Cheers to many more celebrations to come," he penned.
izzy.sloanexox commented: "Soulmates." grpy__said: "Actual soulmates omg. Best love island couple." And grpy__ told them: "I’m literally crying so many tears rn. YOU GUYS."
Fellow finalist Dami Hope, who came in third place with Indiyah Polack, replied with flame emojis. Tasha Ghouri, who came fourth with Andrew Le Page, posted a flame and a heart and Danica Taylor responded with love heart-eyes emojis.
Davide and Ekin-Su won the eighth series of Love Island, scooping a whopping 63.69 per cent of the public vote. They had a turbulent time early on in the villa when Ekin-Su was caught out over sneaking off to the terrace for kisses with newcomer Jay Younger.
But they found their way back to each other and after a romantic date in a vineyard they became firm favourites with fans and were affectionately dubbed 'mum and dad' by viewers. Villa chef Davide asked Ekin-Su to go 'exclusive' with him on the show with a homemade tiramisu.
He told her by the mini firepit: "I wanted to bring you here because this is the place where we had our first kiss." Their coupling received the thumbs-up from their families during the show's Meet the Parents episode.
Davide's mum Nadia said about his romance with actress Ekin-Su: "But I can see she is being sincere. The way she looks at you, she is head over heels.”
And Ekin-Su’s brother told Davide: “I’ve never seen my sister look at a guy the way she looks at you. Clearly there’s something she sees in you. She’s my sister, she deserves the best, she really does, I’m not just saying that. I hope you’re willing to give her the best.”
Ekin-Su recently had a positive update to share with 'Ekinde' fans when she recently appeared on ITV's Lorraine. "We’ve decided that we are moving in together - it’s confirmed, it’s official!" she exclaimed. "We’re gonna be quite busy with other things in September, so we’re going to move in together in Essex, where I'm from."
Ekin-Su added that they decided on Essex as it's close to London but still has a nice "bit of countryside". She also spoke about her and Davide's upcoming TV show, which will see them traveling to Italy and Turkey together. She said: "It will be Davide and Ekin-Su take over Italy and Turkey.
Meanwhile, Davide has admitted to missing Ekin-Su when he took part in a Q&A on Instagram. Asked if he misses his new girlfriend, the Italian business owner said: "A lot," adding a heart and tagging his girl. He was also quizzed on what he has planned for her birthday coming up latest this month but he wouldn't spill, saying it's a surprise'.
