Love Island’s Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti have been warned to stop posting from exotic getaways after an alleged attempted break-in at their home while they soaked up the sun in the Maldives.
Men dressed as maintenance workers were said to have tried to gain access to the couple’s plush £5,000-a-month four-bedroom riverside apartment.
Furious Davide posted surveillance footage appearing to show men in work jackets at the East London property.
He wrote: “Stay far from our house motherf***ers. Police is after you.”
The security team at the apartment block where the couple moved last November alerted the pair to the incident, a source said, though the men did not gain access to their home.
Ekin-Su, who has 3.2million followers on Instagram, and Davide, who has 1.9million, flew to the Maldives after Ekin-Su left Dancing on Ice this month, and have continued posting from there since the incident.
A source said: “They’ve been advised to be wary of posting any social media content from holidays until they’re back home. But they’re young and excited to be on glamorous trips. Social media content is also a huge part of their jobs.”
Fellow Love Islanders Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury had £800,000 of belongings stolen while on a night out together in 2021.
Molly-Mae said the break-in has made her reevaluate her relationship with social media.
One sweet clip from Davide's Instagram saw Ekin plant a kiss on his cheek as they disembarked from a boat on the way to their hotel.
During their trip, Davide also teased that the couple may be preparing to share more of their life on YouTube.
He said: "Less than 24 hours and I already decided I don't wanna come back. I'm in heaven.

The trip comes just after the couple celebrated their first Valentine's Day together and had planned a very romantic way to celebrate.
The pair had planned a romantic dinner due to Ekin's Dancing On Ice schedule but after she was booted out of the competition, he made the decision to up the stakes.
Speaking to The Mirror, Davide previously explained: "I had organised a nice dinner and everything. Probably we'll do a nice dinner the day before and then on the 14th we'll take the flight to the Maldives."
