Gemma Owen and Luca Bish were sent reeling by Love Island new girl Danica Taylor after she made a shock decision during the latest recoupling.
ITV viewers got their first look at new bombshell Danica on Friday night, when she was told that she would play a vital role in the impending selection, as she would need to pick a boy to couple up with. Ahead of Sunday's episode airing, it had been confirmed that one guy had already left the villa as a result of what happened in the recoupling, leaving Love Island fans to speculate on who that was.
Danica kicked things off and gave the recoupling its most dramatic moment when she announced that she'd be picking Luca, with her choice seeing Gemma's face immediately drop and Luca looking less than pleased as he gave Gemma a kiss on the cheek before reluctantly taking a seat next to Danica. He then told Ekin-Su he was "raging," at what had happened, while Tasha quietly quizzed Gemma on who she'd couple up with with Luca being 'stolen from her.

In the end Gemma turned back the clock to week one and decided to be in a couple with Davide again, having said she thought his personality had been 'coming out.' The boy who ended up packing his bags was Remi, but it was the fallout of Danica's decision that was the major talking point in the aftermath.
Luca promised Gemma he wanted to still "sped as much time as possible," with him assuring Michael Owen's daughter that Danica "wasn't in the picture," as Danica said she "went with her gut."
It looked like could be more bad times ahead for Gemma as, in a teaser for Sunday night's show, ITV revealed that Danica and the boy she chose to couple up with had gone on a date, with Danica saying: “Honestly, this is probably the second genuine date I think I’ve been on," with Luca thanking her, before adding: "“I am sure a lot of boys would want to kiss you.”
However, in reality, the conversation was all about Luca asking Danica whichever other boys she had her eye on in the villa, even offering to be her 'wing man.'
