Love Island star Coco Lodge has claimed she asked producers to cut some "nasty" comments made about her during her row with Summer Botwe.
The 27-year-old graphic designer has claimed in a Facebook Live with the Mirror that she spoke to the Love Island crew about her clash with Summer, 22, after it took place and asked them to leave out some comments.
Love Island fans saw the Casa Amor girls clash during the reunion episode after Coco made a joke about Josh Le Grove in on the Saving Grace podcast.
The argument erupted on the reunion, Coco insisted of her comments: "It's just banter. If you can't handle a big personality don't go on reality TV."
Summer hit back with: "Friends don't say certain things hun but alright."
The pair were then seen clashing as Aftersun guest Darren Harriott tried to calm the situation down.
Following the airing of the reunion episode, Summer revealed the argument was "edited" as she tweeted: "of course they edited it, we move thooo".
Now, Coco has revealed to the Mirror that she in fact asked producers to cut comments made by Summer in the row.
When asked about her opinion on the show's edit, the brunette said: "I think all that was cut out was a bit of back and fourth, where I was like: 'I don't really wanna talk about this, it's embarrassing it's school girl drama, I don't want to be involved I'm 27'. That was cut out.
"There was a few comments made by her [Summer] that was cut out, which I'd rather not share because they were very nasty towards me and I would rather not even put them out there and I did say that to welfare before the episode aired that I'd rather those comments she made about me not be shown."
The Casa Amor bombshell added that had the comments that she thought the edit had done Summer a "favour".
She added to the Mirror: "I don't think there's anything to complain [about] I did see Summer's tweet but the only thing they took out in that argument, to be honest, would look even worse on her so they've actually done her a favour.
"The things she said to me were completely out of line and offensive and not what you would say to a woman or a man.
"So to be honest, I don't think it's a bad edit in her favour."
Coco and Summer clashed after Coco made claims about a flirtatious exchange between herself and Josh, who Summer began dating after leaving the Love Island villa.
Following the fallout, Coco has insisted she is "fine" with Summer.
When asked how things were between herself and Summer, Coco told the Mirror : "We're just not talking to be honest. I think I've seen a few facial expressions towards me over the weekend that weren't nice.
"But, I just can't be involved in that drama, it just feels very school like and I just take a step back and do my own thing.
"I'm fine with her, there's nothing. I don't hold grudges against people but, obviously, everyone's different."
Mirror has contacted Summer's representatives for comment.
