During their time apart, the islanders are split into male and female camps and are unable to communicate with their current partner. In previous years cheating was ripe as the islanders were tempted by the new arrivals, sparking nonstop drama afterwards as the revelations came to light.
Casa Amor usually lasts for around three to four days and lets the islanders decide whether or not they want to stick with their original partner or couple up with their new flame.
