Love Island's Casa Amor twist is always sure to serve up some serious drama – with some of the show's most iconic scenes stemming from the antics in the second villa.
This year's stint has far from disappointed as a number of the Islanders have locked lips with new arrivals including Dami Hope, Andrew Le Page and Tasha Ghouri.
And the action is yet to end there as the teaser for the next stint has shown Andrew, 27, in tears while Jacques O'Neill locks lips with Cheyanne Kerr.
Viewers of the ITV2 dating show have been left reeling over the antics Casa Amor has stirred up and they aren't alone as Love Island winner Amber Gill has given her take, too.
The 24-year-old reality star, who's debut novel Until I Met You is due to be released on July 7, has admitted that while she feared the twist may prove "boring" this year it has proved to be rather "messy".
Speaking exclusively to the Mirror , Amber revealed: "It's absolutely wild. I am so shocked by Dami's situation, the guys saying: 'I'll kiss a girl if you will', they're kissing in bed.
"They're being messy and I'm so shocked.
"We all wrote it off on Twitter saying: 'This is going to be the most boring Casa Amor ever because nobody's heads are going to turn,' and it's been the complete opposite.
"This is the worst Casa Amor I've ever witnessed."
Amber added: "What is going on? Like, I'm sorry but I can't with excitable guys it just gives me the ick.
"It's not that I don't wanna see men being happy, that's not the case but when you're jumping around like that because new girls are coming in when you're supposed to like me? That's an ick. I'm sorry that's an ick."
Casa Amor has been introduced slightly earlier on in the current series than previous offerings – as the Islanders have been in the villa for just over three weeks and the segment usually takes place a week later. But, Amber says this might be a sign of another twist on the horizon.
"Hopefully they've got another twist," Amber told us. "I was just saying last night on Twitter I'm glad that it's a bit premature, it's nice, because the way that we were going on in my season it was as if we were moaning, it was ridiculous, embarrassing.
"We were all like: 'Oh my God no, we're going to have to sleep on the day bed outside'. And it was embarrassing like, 'please girls get a grip of yourselves', so I'm glad it's a bit premature because these girls are giving as good as the boys are.
"I mean not as disrespectful, but the girls are giving it as much and I'm happy about that."
This week, viewers saw Luca Bish and Dami Hope clash in an awkward row over their actions in Casa Amor, dividing viewers into who was right and wrong as 23-year-old Luca was branded "fake".
But, Amber has insisted the pair are "both right".
"I'm not team Luca or team Dami. I'm annoyed with Dami but with what both of them were saying, they were both saying the right thing, I'm sorry," she said.
The Geordie beauty added: "Luca is very aware of what's going on. I feel like we've seen it before where guys think the first person they couple up with they've got to stay with and then they're going to be cute couple goals – I think he's aware of that.
"But, I also think Dami was feeling guilty at the same time. So I think they were both right and both had very valid points and I would have been sat in the middle of the fence not knowing who's side to be on."
She added of Luca: "When they were sitting around the fire pit he was nudging Jacques and it's like: 'Babes how old are we, like 12, what are you doing?' And I feel like he's consistently done a couple things like that and I'm like: 'You're trying to play a little old game here'."
Since winning the 2019 series of Love Island and bagging her half of the £50k prize, Amber has taken a slightly different career path than the rest of her fellow former Islanders.
The star is set to release her Mills and Boon debut novel, Until I Met You, this week.
Speaking of bucking the trend, Amber said: "I can't be boxed, that's one thing about me. You can't tell me this is the lane I've got to go down because I'm gonna be like: 'No I'm not doing that'.
"It was never a conscious decision but it was always in my DNA that I was going to do what I wanna do."
Until I Met You by Amber Rose Gill is published by Mills & Boon in paperback, Ebook and audiobook
