Love Island's Amy Hart shares what it's really like for girls in villa

Amy Hart has opened up about life in the Love Island villa including intimate details.

The 30-year-old went on the show in 2019 and is always happy to share about her experience giving viewers an insight to what happens off-screen too. Fans on TikTok often send her questions about the show - wanting to know what they eat, if they can smoke and how they deal with personal issues.

One question that the reality star said she gets a lot is about what the female Islanders do when mother nature calls. When a woman comes on her period while on holiday it can be a huge nuisance, however, Amy shared that the girls had to "just get on with it."

She said: "I’ve heard this so many times. I don’t really understand what you think I'm going to say, like we’re segregated in another room, only allowed in black bikinis. We just get on with it, like you would do if you’re on holiday.”

Amy added her own experience of dealing with periods in the villa as she said: "I personally ran my pill packs together because I didn't want to have a period while I was in there and the doctor was like, ‘Yeah that’s not going to work’ and I was like, ‘It will, it will’. And it did work… until it didn’t. But yeah, you just get on with it."

While some fans disagreed in the comments and said that they wouldn't be able to just get on with it, Amy was understanding as she captioned the clip: "I understand everyone is different and they’d make allowances I'm sure. I was just talking about my experience and meant we weren’t banished."
