Amy Hart has revealed her hopes to ditch her reality TV career and become a politician.
The former Love Island star, 29, became a household name when she appeared on the ITV2 dating show in 2019.
After falling head over heels for fellow islander Curtis Pritchard, Amy was left heartbroken and ultimately left the show when the professional dancer's head got turned by Irish bombshell, Maura Higgins.
Since then, Amy has appeared on a variety of reality TV shows including Celebs Go Dating and Hey Tracey.
Although she's gained success from appearing on Love Island, Amy is eager to leave her reality TV roots behind her.
The blonde beauty has now set her sights on a career in politics.
Lifting the lid on her career goals, Amy told The Sun: "I think I could be a relatable MP – something a lot of them are not. I think integrity and compassion is missing in politics and I can bring that.
"I have a nice life now, I earn good money. I don’t need to get into politics but I would love to.”
Amy went on to reveal that she hopes to change other people's lives for the better if she were to move into politics.
“I would love to help people change their life and to make things better for people rather than doing it for what I could gain out of it. I think a lot of people do it for personal gain sadly," she explained.
“I’d love to write a book about politics for the Love Island generation.
"A lot of people think that politics doesn’t concern their lives so making it easier to digest is important.
“Many of my friends don’t vote as they think politics doesn’t concern them. I would love to educate people that it really does concern them.”
