Love Island's Amy Hart admits she feels 'deflated' after seeing her 20-week scan

Love Island star Amy Hart has admitted to feeling "deflated" after seeing her 20-week scan.

The former air hostess, 30, is expecting her first child with partner Sam Rason, but confessed she wished their bundle of joy was already here.

Taking to Instagram with a pic of her scan, she wrote: "20 weeks of growing a human!!

"I’ll be honest (as I always strive to be..) as much as this mornings scan was amazing, we saw so much (but covered our eyes at the right times so we didn’t see the gender!), I feel a little bit deflated this evening…but for all the right reasons!

"This last week I’ve been so so excited, the most excited I’ve been the whole time but I feel like I’ve been pregnant for aaaaggeess now and I’ve got to do the whole thing again and I just wanna have the baby here nowwww!!! (Veruca Salt vibes )."

Amy continued: "I’ve just booked our NCT course, hypnobirthing and paediatric first aid courses so hopefully that’ll make some time go faster!!

"Has anyone else felt like this or am I an ungrateful weirdo?!"

The TV star's post was well received by fans with many agreeing with Amy that nothing much happens in pregnancy at 20 weeks.

One replied: "20 weeks to birth is a little underwhelming. Nothing much happens (hopefully) apart from you expand, you get heartburn and sleeping slowly dwindles away. The initial excitement of scans etc goes and now you are just waiting for the birth."

However, others were quick to remind the mum-to-be to enjoy her pregnancy, with one of her followers saying: "It will go by so quickly! Enjoy the last months of being a couple and the build-up. It's such a special time that you won't get back."

Amy has been candid about her fertility issues, revealing she had her eggs frozen at the age of 28 after a health MOT revealed her reserves were low for her age and could leave her at risk of early menopause.

She also told fans she'd been diagnosed with a positive HPV result back in May and was told she would need further tests.

However, despite the setbacks, Amy conceived naturally and now says that “everything happens for a reason”.

Her baby is due between February 28 and March 9 and once she gives birth, she has around 18 months until she ties the knot with beau Sam.
