Love Island's Amy and Curtis' REAL feelings shown in his secret gesture

They've been branded couple goals and described as an old married couple despite knowing each other for precisely three weeks - but are Love Island's Curtis Pritchard and Amy Hart the real deal?

Last night's episode left viewers cringing as Amy excitedly chatted to the girls about their lives together, even mentioning how her one-year-old godson would hopefully only ever know them as a couple.

But Curtis seemed a little more lukewarm towards the idea of their relationship continuing on after their villa stint, failing to match Amy's zeal and energy.

Here, body language expert Judi James reveals the secret gesture that gives away Curtis' real feelings towards Amy...

Curtis has already refused to label them any more than half boyfriend and girlfriend (ITV)

This very odd relationship seems to have fast-tracked from love at first sight through to their Golden Wedding anniversary in the space of a couple of weeks.

The over-idealised duo did display flirt and attraction signals at the start of their stint, but looking at them chatting last night their body language was all about slumping, sloppy eating, face-rubbing and face-pulling as they looked more like they were having a 6-0 down team talk than a loving chat.

Amy clung on to Curtis throughout the tweet challenge, reaching up to kiss him every so often (ITV)

Curtis does perform the odd warm smile... but where is that unmistakable 'look of love' face-softening facial expression that picks lovers out when they make eye contact?

That facial ritual usually happens automatically well into the first few years of a relationship at least, so for a newly-smitten couple like Amy and Curtis, it should be a given.

The pair displayed flirting signals at the start of their romance - but that seems to have faded now (ITV)

If they are acting at all in there this might have been a moment for team talk tactics after the tweet knocked their perfect couple persona, and if they are genuine they might need to up their game - especially after Curtis's very over-congruent bromance PDAs with Tommy Fury !

*Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2
