Love Island's Amber Gill sent death threats after online spat with Luca Bish's sister

Love Island star Amber Gill has revealed that she received terrifying death threats following a social media row with Luca Bish ’s sister, Claudia.

Amber, 24, who won the ITV2 show back in 2019, found herself in a fierce row with Luca's protective sister who took umbrage with her comments over his 'toxic' behaviour in the villa.

The Geordie beauty had Tweeted that Luca, 23, was 'public enemy number one' and said his antics towards Tasha Ghouri had turned the show into 'Bully Island'.

Amber, who commentates on the reality TV show every night, wrote on Twitter : "Tasha thought Luca was her best mate????????? Luca is public enemy number one - equal with Dami #loveisland".

She then retweeted: "Luca and Dami have turned this season into Bully Island and have sucked all the fun out of it. It's just uncomfortable to watch."

Following Amber's comments, Luca's sister Claudia - who has been running his social media accounts - was left furious by the remarks and came onto Amber's Instagram live to call her out for her throwing her brother under the bus.

Amber later told fans: "Luca's sister came on my live?? I don't why cos I'd say exactly the same regardless of anything. I'd say it to his face too xxx.

"It was really sad because after her comments on my live, people started sending me death threats so it's just a vicious circle you can't control crazy people wanting to hate.

"I understand she's upset and I hate that but all my tweets are comedy only.

"I gave his family no stick. She came onto my live when I wasn't even talking about love island. They shouldn't look at my tweets as it's all hyperbole that's my sense of humour I don't genuinely dislike anyone on the show and it's never that deep."

Amber admitted that she wasn't going to take any more death threats, and if people insisted on sending her hate, the first thing she's going to do is block them.

The former Love Island winner then pinned a disclaimer tweet pinned to the top of her Twitter page which read: “To my followers or anyone that comes across my page:

"Dislike or disagree with my tweets and I will block you this page is a dictatorship. Whatever I say goes.”

Amber championed the show back in 2019 alongside her ex, Greg O'Shea.
