Amber Beckford and Ikenna Ekwonna were dumped from the villa in tonight’s explosive episode of Love Island as the contestants discovered the results of the latest savage public vote.
ITV2 viewers voted for their favourite male and female islander, with the least popular facing the chop at the start of Tuesday night’s episode.
In the dramatic scenes as night fell, the islanders gathered around the firepit to hear their fate after receiving a text asking them to take their places.
It was then revealed the public had been voting for their favourite girl and boy in the villa and those with the fewest votes were at risk of being dumped from the island on Monday evening.
The boys with the lowest votes were Ikenna, Jay and Andrew, while the three girls were Ekin-Su, Tasha and Amber.
But only one girl and one boy were set to pack their bags and as a series of texts were sent to the other islanders, it was revealed that Amber and Ikenna had received the fewest votes and left the villa tonight.
After Monday’s cliff-hanger ending, Love Island fan had predicted the likely contestants dumped from the villa would be Amber and Ikenna.
While the episode ended before the names were announced, fans believed they had worked out who would be packing their bags after a chunk of the Monday night episode focused on the flourishing romance between Indiyah Pollack and Dami Hope.
Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "Ikenna and Amber need to go home DO YOU THINK THEY'D SHOW Dami And Indiyah If there's no storyline there?" as another wrote: "Ideal amber and ikenna disappear so Dami and Indiyah can get it on in peace."
This comes after Remi, 22, who hails from Manchester, became the second islander to face the chop on Sunday night as he made his early exit from the series.
He officially entered the villa on Tuesday – but his time was cut short as he sadly waved goodbye to fellow islanders on Sunday.
It was the girls' turn to pick who they wanted to couple up with in last night's episode.
Remi had formed a flirtatious connection with Indiyah after choosing her for a date upon his entrance.
But she decided to couple up with Ikenna instead, who she has been coupled up with from the start, leaving Remi single and dumped from the island.
Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
