Love Island star Adam Collard has taken the next step in his relationship with villa stunner Paige Thorne after the pair finished in fifth place of the 2022 series.
The Newcastle native, 26, entered the villa for a second time this summer, four years after his 2018 stint on the ITV2 show, and as soon as he met the other islanders, he only had eyes for Welsh paramedic Paige, 24.
The pair became exclusive while in the villa, with Adam telling Paige that he could see a future with her in the 'real world' and insisting that he didn't want to get to know anyone else but her.
And it seems that the former self-confessed 'womaniser' has followed through on his promises after the smitten pair's Love Island journey together.
Adam has now 'told' Paige that he's her boyrfriend as the lovebirds set their sights on a bright future together after the personal trainer called brunette bombshell Paige 'wifey material' numerous times while on the show.
The gorgeous pair are now officially boyfriend and girlfriend, and they couldn't be happier.
Lifting the lid on how he popped the question to Paige, Adam told On Demand Entertainment that he never asked Paige out - instead he told her that they were now dating.
"The only time where we got to sit on the sofa. It was only us for the first time," he said.
"I was like: 'Right, I need to ask you now because it's not for anyone's benefit, apart from mine and yours.
"'I do really want you to be my girlfriend.'"
"I didn't even ask her actually, I just told her. I just said: Right, so this is a thing now, please," he added.
The news of Paige and Adam's official relationship will no doubt come as a bit of a blow to her former flame in the Love Island villa, Jacques O'Neill, who sensationally quit the show following the explosive arrival of Adam who had his eyes set on Paige from the start.
Jacques, 23, left the show shortly after, telling his fellow islanders that he was struggling mentally being in the environment of the villa and having no escape.
Before he departed the villa, Jacques subtly confessed his love for Paige, telling her that he would be waiting for her on the outside as the pair sobbed in each others arms.
However, just one day later, Paige was 'cracking on' with Adam, and the pair have gone from strength-to-strength ever since.
In an Instagram Live with fellow islander Luca Bish over the weekend, Jacques sarcastically spoke about his feelings towards Paige and Adam's romance.
Jacques' Instagram followers were quick to grill the hunk and asked Jacques what he thought about the relationship between Paige and Adam as he admitted that he hasn't spoke to Paige since the day he quit the show.
The rugby player responded: "Well, her mum seems to love him doesn't she? He's in there with the fam!"
His sarcastic words was in reference to the Meet the Parents episode of this year's series, as Paige was visited by her parents, and, upon asking them what they thought of Adam, her mum savagely told her: "I'm not buying it."
Paige asked her what she meant and the parent compared her relationship with Adam to her one with Jacques.
She told her: "The way you were with Jacques was completely different."
Jacques later added to the fan: "Nah, Paige and Adam seem really happy together. Best of luck to them," before Luca quipped: "Sound well sincere there, mate!"
Since leaving the villa, Jacques has also deleted all Instagram photos and clips linking him with Paige.
