An insight into how Love Island producers talk to the Islanders in the villa has been shared by one of those who is responsible for speaking to Gemma Owen, Luca Bish and those on the show.
The beach hut at the villa has become a "safe haven" for the Islanders and it is a place where they can speak to viewers as well as "vent" about issues on the show.
In the specially equipped Beach Hut, there is a camera and voice box, where the Islanders can speak directly to ITV2 producers, if they have an issue which they want to share.
Love Island producer Mo has shared on social media a video in which he gives an insight to what happens in the Beach Hut, which the viewers don't see.
He said: "A little fact for you, I'm not actually in the villa with them.
"I'm in a gallery over there and I've got my own little voice box where I will be able to talk to the Islanders.
"What they do is they talk to a camera directly and they can hear my voice booming in - so I'll be asking them generic questions like 'how it's it going today' or 'how's life in the villa today?'
"And they are talking down the lens and basically talking to me but they can just hear my voice.
"So they have never actually seen me."
Speaking about what his role brings to the show and how it works with the Beach Hut, he added: "It's a safe haven and safe space for them to vent or talk about what's going on in the island.
"I'm here to make sure they feel comfortable and can express all the emotions."
Previously, Love Island 2021 finalist Faye Winter said that the public's perception of the Islanders could be affected by the questions asked in the Beach Hut.
Speaking to The Sun, Faye said: "He could possibly have realised how he's being portrayed on the show. You can tell because of the questions you're asked in the Beach Hut.
"You're kind of wired to it by the end."
