Police poked fun at a man who was allegedly drink driving in Manchester on Wednesday night (September 7). Sharing a picture of the male on Twitter, the force joked: "Love Island might be missing a contestant".
The man, who was dressed in ripped denim shorts and a short sleeve monochrome shirt, was kept in cells overnight after officers say they caught him driving whilst disqualified, drunk and with no insurance.
Greater Manchester Police shared the image on Twitter after the man was arrested on Wednesday night. Officers kept the man in custody overnight.
The force went on to add that the man was a 'danger to everyone around him' and was 'quite rightly taken off the road'.
Their post read: "Love Island might be missing a contestant after the GMP Transport Unit officers locked this lad up for driving whilst disqualified and no insurance & drunk driving. Kept in the cells overnight to face court. A danger to everyone around him and quite rightly taken off the road."
