Love Island makes history as nine islanders dumped in show's most brutal Casa Amor twist

Love Island has reportedly axed nine Islanders as Maya Jama will returns to the ITV show in upcoming scenes to bring the two villas back together.

There will be the biggest cull of Islanders the show has ever seen as the original cast decide if they want to stay together with their pre-Casa Amor partners or recouple with someone new.

The highest number of Islanders ever kicked out in one dumping has been six but the shocking Casa Amor antics has led to nine Islanders being given their plane tickets home.

It''s been reported the savage recoupling will take place in Wednesday evening's Love Island.

A source said: "Reuniting the two villas was explosive - the recoupling will be a real shock. The tension was off the scale - viewers will be really surprised as to who choses who."

"It's an unmissable episode," the TV source told The Sun.

Casa Amor has delivered plenty of dramatic action this year as the several Islanders betrayed their existing partners for a chance of romance with the new Casa Amor arrivals.

Love Island fans were furious on Tuesday after Will moved on from Jessie, who he has been coupled up with for two weeks, just days into Casa Amor.

Will shocked viewers by kissing new girl Layla after the girls were sent away to Casa Amor.

The farmer and TikTok star admitted to brand managing director Layla: "You could turn my head," and she replied: "You make me a little bit nervous."

Later in the evening, the pair kissed on the villa’s balcony as Will said: "I think you do bring out a cheeky side in me… I feel like I gravitate towards you a bit."

Layla agreed before Will asked: "Shall we have a little kiss now?" and the pair then shared a bed.

Love Island fans were outraged by Will's cheating and predicted history would repeat itself as one tweeted: "Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if Will sticks with Jessie and we’ll have another Millie and Liam situation where Lillie revealed all at the recoupling #LoveIsland."

Another echoed: "This will be a repeat of Millie and Liam, Will will stick with Jesse and she will come back all happy and then the truth will come out #loveisland," and a third added: "This is Liam and Millie all over Will is gonna do a madness only to stay with Jessie #loveisland."
