Love Island lines up brutal dumping as Laura Whitmore returns - and four Islanders face axe

Love Island will air brutal dumping news on Tuesday night, as a night out for the group descends into heartbreak.

Host Laura Whitmore makes a surprise return to the dating show to drop a massive bombshell on the Islanders as they party away.

There's a dumping looming after a public vote, and four Islanders face the axe.

It's not yet confirmed how many people will leave, but what is known is that Laura announces two girls and two boys are at risk during Tuesday night's show.

It all kicks off when the Islanders head to the second villa to enjoy a night out with a musical guest.

Ekin-Su receives a text inviting all the Islanders to a VIP party at Vibe Club.

DJ Joel Corry greets the girls and boys, as they celebrate with their own special performance.

Suddenly, Laura arrives though and it's clear what is about to go down, with not all the Islanders heading back to the main villa.

She says: 'Hello Islanders, how are you all doing? Having a good time? I am not here to join in on the fun sadly and I am afraid the party is over, could you all please line up by the pool."

Laura then reveals to them that the public have been voting for their favourite boy and girl and the two boys and girls with the fewest votes risk being dumped from the Island tonight.

Of course being Love Island there will no doubt be a twist, while it could also see a cliffhanger with the result possibly airing on Wednesday night.

In past series, the club party always leads to an exit or two - and in one series there was an even bigger twist when a couple got to stay in the villa, but could not longer be a couple.

Whether there will be a new twist this time remains to be seen, and it's also not known yet who is at risk.

Laura will announce the two girls and two boys who could be axed, but who gets the final say on the matter remains to be seen.

Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
