Love Island’s Jess Harding’s mum says she'll give Sammy Root a “good grilling” when she sees him.
The villa lothario was coupled up with Jess, and upset the 22-year-old with his antics in Casa Amor as he snogged bombshells Amber and Gabby within minutes of each other.
She was left devastated when he decided to couple up with Amber, despite choosing him in the recoupling, and now she’s had enough of his behaviour.
Sammy confessed he still had feelings for her, and couldn’t stop thinking about her, but Jess was furious.
She delighted viewers when she gave him an ultimatum, and told him she was fed up with being involved in love triangles with him and other girls in the villa, leaving him speechless.
Her mum Sarah approved of her fiery tirade, and said she handled the aftermath of Casa Amor heartbreak in a “very mature” way.
She told new! magazine she wanted to believe Sammy when he told Jess he was thinking about her while in Casa Amor, because she “will always give someone the benefit of the doubt”.
Sarah said her daughter will “always try to see the good in people”, but can only take so much before she’s had enough.
Despite Sammy’s behaviour and messing Jess around in front of millions of viewers, she said the family were “warming to him”, but Sarah believes he really does like Jess.
However, she has a few words for Sammy when she eventually meets him.
“I’d give him a grilling and a hard time,” she laughed.
Sarah doesn’t think any of the other Islanders are suited to her daughter, and she think the reason Jess has been single for two years before entering the Love Island villa is because “nobody has matched up to her expectations”.
“She says she wants a bad boy but, deep down, I don’t think that’s what she really wants,” she explained.
Sarah said Jess has been heartbroken in the past, but manages to “brush herself off and moves on”, but she had some stern words for Sammy.
“She doesn’t go looking for the drama - but she won’t take any cr*p!” she quipped.
The future of Jess and Sammy’s relationship is in jeopardy after the infamous Movie Night hit the villa on Sunday.
The Islanders were stunned to see Sammy tell Mal Nicol he had stronger feelings for her than Jess, leading to an explosive showdown between the former couple.
“What you think I'm gonna let you get away with a bit of chat, mate? How does that make me feel? It makes me feel f***ing s**t and insecure. It makes me feel like s**t!" she shouted.
