Love Island: How long is the ITV series on for this year and where can you watch it?

The dating reality TV series is back on our screens on Monday night as a new group of singletons looking for love arrive at the Love Island villa in Majorca. The line-up has already been revealed and viewers can once again expect some blossoming romances as the new arrivals start their search for love.

The eleven Islanders taking part in this year's series are; Paige Thorne, Dami Hope, Indiyah Polack, Liam Llewellyn, Tasha Ghouri, Davide Sanclimenti, Gemma Owen, Ikenna Ekwonna, Andrew Le Page, Amber Beckford and Luca Bish. Laura Whitmore is once again returning to host, with Ian Stirling providing plenty of entertainment with his commentary on the goings on in the villa.

But the question many fans will be wondering is how many weeks of their diaries they'll need to clear this summer, to make sure they don't miss a single episode of the unfolding action. So how long will Love Island be on for this year and where can you watch the 2022 series? Here are all the details you need:

How long is Love Island on for this year and where can you watch the series?

The 2022 series of Love Island will start on Monday, June 6 from 9pm and will run for eight weeks in total. You'll be able to watch the series over on ITV2 and ITV Hub and the episodes will also be available the following morning on BritBox.

An extra-long episode is set to kick off the brand new series - fans can enjoy one hour and 35 minutes of the latest from the villa on June 6. The dating programme is currently set to air each weeknight and on Sunday evenings from 9pm.

On Saturday nights from 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub, Love Island: Unseen Bits returns with Ian Stirling. Love Island: Aftersun will see Laura Whitmore joined by a panel of celebrities to debrief the latest news from the villa, starting on Sunday, June 12 from 10pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.

Love Island starts June 6 at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
