Love Island host Maya Jama sizzles in red see-through dress at glamorous bash

Maya Jama turned heads on Thursday night as she stepped out in a risqué red see-through dress.

The 28-year-old TV star, who is currently in the midst of presenting the 10th season of Love Island, wowed fans and fellow guests at The National Gallery Summer Party in London.

She looked sensational in the plunging red dress, which drew further attention due to the sheer material that draped around her legs - and she was seen beaming for the cameras as arrived at the summer bash.

Maya coupled the dress with matching red heels and had her long brunette hair in loose curls to complete her glowing look.

Damian Hurley, the filmmaker son of Elizabeth Hurley, actress Felicity Jones and singer Celeste were among those to appear at the bash.

The former Radio 1 DJ was forced to defend this year's "elite" season of Love Island after complaints claiming "nobody is watching".

Love Island has been plagued by rumours of dwindling audiences in recent years, but it was reported that the recent launch show attracted more than three million fans across all devices - including ITV ’s streaming service ITVX - which was the biggest 16-24 audience on any channel since the World Cup in 2022.

Maya has also been wowing viewers on Love Island (ITV)

Maya took to social media to blast the critics, and shared an article from the Bristol Post which detailed the incredible viewing figures.

"The papers were so quick to say viewers are low but the honeys are watching online on @ITVX this season is ELITE thankyou very much," she tweeted.

According to figures released earlier this month by ITV, Love Island has been streamed almost 200 million times this year so far.

She is in her second series as Love Island host (ITV)

Back in 2019, the first episode of Love Island attracted more than 3.3 million viewers, but the show has not been able to reach that peak since.

ITV bosses enlisted Laura Whitmore to host the main dating show in 2021, but she faced a barrage of criticism and stepped down from presenting duties last year.

Maya's stock has certainly risen since taking over from Laura as the ITV2 reality dating show ahead of series nine earlier this year, and she caught the eye of the viewers with some of her gorgeous outfits.
