Love Island hit with 372 Ofcom complaints over Molly Marsh's controversial return

Love Island has been hit by 372 Ofcom complaints following Molly Marsh's return to the show.

The pantomime performer, 21, rocked up in Casa Amor just days after being dumped from the villa - leaving many viewers unhappy.

Some branded her reunion with former flame Zacariah Noble "boring" while others threatened to boycott the show.

One fan fumed: "If Molly's still in the villa in a week, I'm boycotting the rest of the season because there is NO way."

A second shared: "Don’t even want to watch love island tonight just gonna be molly making a fool of herself for Zach. Zach saying what he wants molly hear. We all know she will take him back that’s why she’s back. Boring. Casa is about new bombshells".

A third mused: "That was such a lackluster return to the villa by producers and their plant Molly. I kinda wanna boycott but I don’t even live in the UK to be giving them streams or lack of."

While a fourth went even further with their disapproval, sharing a clip of Molly and the other Casa Amor bombshells with the caption: "Why the f**k dont u guys understand WE DONT WANT MOLLY BACK!"

Molly made her dramatic return on Sunday and made a beeline for her ex Zach as she confronted him over his behaviour since she'd been gone.

The daughter of Coronation Street star, Janet Marsh, was brutally dumped from the villa after Kady McDermott chose to pair up with her partner.

Zach probably thought he'd seen the last of the influencer, but as the new girls made their way to the villa, Sammy said: “That girl looks so much like Molly" before Mitch turned to Zach gasping: “Zach…what is going on…?”

As the former couple awkwardly hugged, Molly told Zach “I think we need to talk, Zach...I’m really confused I’m not going to lie. When I left, we didn't get a chance to speak much, did we?

"As soon as I left, all I’ve been saying is I’m waiting, I’m waiting for him and now I’m just so confused. I just wonder if you’ve still been thinking of me? Or am I not in your mind anymore?"

Her still stunned ex replied: "I'll be honest my journey has not been the same since you left, I think a lot has gone on."

As Molly told him she had "seen everything", Zach said he was "glad" to have her back in the villa.

After days of high drama, the couple have appeared to patch things up and even shared their first official kiss since Molly re-entered the villa in Tuesday's episode.

However, it seems the drama is only just beginning as the first recoupling after Casa Amor will kick off tonight (July 5) and has the potential to be the most devastating yet...

Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
