Love Island first look teases two Islanders going to war after Movie Night

Movie Night is just around the corner on ITV2 reality show Love Island and as ever drama is expected to ensue. A first look at the Sunday, July 9 episode has teased that two Islanders will be at each other’s throats after the annual big screen showcase.

The revelatory event comes days after the Islanders returned from Casa Amor, which saw the group split into town for a couple of days, during which six new boys and six new girls joined the show in the hope of causing chaos for the couples.

Following Casa Amor the boys had to choose whether they wanted to “stick or recouple” - read here to see which couples survived.

A teaser for the upcoming Movie Night episode has revealed that the Islanders receive a text which reads: “Islanders, It’s time to get your glam game strong and hit the red carpet as tonight is Movie Night #FrontRowSeats #SweetOrSalty.” On the night a boys vs girls quiz sees each team answers a question by text with the team closest to the correct answer selecting the movie of their choice.

As the lights go down, Whitney looks the most keen to see what the boys have been up to. “This is my kind of night, roll the tapes, roll the tapes…” she says as the other girls look on.

Film titles airing this year include The Lying, The Mitch and The Wardrobe, Sin-Der-Ella and The Full Montel. As drama ensues and the Islanders reflect on what they've seen and Whitney tries to break the tension by joking: “Well Movie Night was Movie Nighting!”
